20 May, 2009

New York, May 20, 2009 – iYogi, a global direct-to-consumer and small business remote tech support provider was named a finalist today in the Customer Service Department of the Year category in The 2009 American Business Awards.

With more than 70,000 customers across USA, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, iYogi is setting new standards for the remote tech support industry with a customer satisfaction rating of 95%. It provides a comprehensive range of 24/7 technical support services for computers, printers, MP3 players, digital camera, routers, servers and more than 100 software applications. iYogi's Annual Unlimited Support Plan for $139 per-year that includes subscription to McAfee's anti-virus and anti-spyware software and other tools for networking, recovery and management drive the company's growth.

"We are delighted to be selected as a finalist by American Business Awards and recognized for our customer service practices. We personalize every tech support incident with a deep knowledge of the customers profile, their hardware and software specifications, and history of incidents. Our Global Delivery Platform, iMantra, is powered by the best technicians in the business and helps us in delivering a great service,"

said Vishal Dhar, President Marketing for iYogi.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration across categories. Members of the Award's Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected Stevie Award winners from finalists in final judging. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May. Stevie Award winners were announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 22 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

"Despite very tough economic conditions, many organizations and individuals continue to perform well,"

said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The Stevie Awards. "The results of the 2009 ABAs thus far are a testament to the resilience, creativity, and hard work of American organizations, executives, and workers."
